WEATHER BLOG: How About That Overnight Thunderstorm?

Hi Everyone!

How about that overnight thunderstorm? It is really rare that we have big time severe weather like that in the mornings. Most of our "breaking weather news" happens in the Winter with overnight cold temps and snow-sleet, etc, on the A.M. commute. Over the 33 years I have been doing this show we have had many morning t-storms but I bet only about 10 times have we had widespread warnings like we saw this day. Pretty cool to be honest, and it made the two hours go pretty quick. (And don't we all like quick work day's?)

Behind that weather today will not be too bad. 91 and just a bit humid. A pretty good amount of Sun too. We cannot rule out an isolated late day shower or t-storm but 90% of any foul weather we will see today has already passed.

Tomorrow will be pretty darn nice.

I am going to conclude now..after this morning's action I need to relax. I should be back from the "mental" Virgin Islands by tomorrow.
