WEATHER BLOG: Heating Up

A warmer pattern is upon us and this will continue through the foreseeable future. High pressure currently located over eastern NC this morning will shift off the coast later today, leading to a warm southwest flow across the region. A weak upper level trough currently over the Great Lakes will shift east and weaken across NY and PA today and tonight. THis will lead to a spotty shower well west this afternoon and evening. BWI metro will stay dry with temps near 90.
