WEATHER BLOG: Hot Again

Hi Everyone,

Cut and paste yesterday on today,  and tomorrow, and you have the look, and feel, of the day(s). We are still looking for a good weekend with lower humidity, and lower temps.

That really takes care of the weather, but now I have a question for ya.

In my neighborhood I am noticing that leafs, albeit not a lot of leafs, are "changing." There is a tree on my street that IS shedding its leafs already.  I have a Chestnut tree in my backyard, and the Chestnuts are falling. Is it just me or is this a bit early? It's bad enough that Halloween  candy hit shelves in August. I am sure, one day,  we will take the loving feeling of the holiday season and combine that with Valentine's Day for one big love fest featuring both Christmas cards, and Valentine candy hearts, on the same store shelves. But that is the greed of cooperate America. The leafs though….?

I am not ready to give it up yet, plenty of warm weather left. But if I believed in signs from nature, (and I don't for the most part because really science is its own absolute), I would be headed for the Winter bunker right now.

Bring that 92 today Mother Nature! And tell your trees to take a chill. (And I don't mean a weather condition either!)
