Police Arrest 2 In Connection With Baltimore County Homicide
WHITE MARSH, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police have arrested two people in connection with the death of an 18-year-old whose body was found along Interstate 95 in Baltimore County.
Police say 48-year-old Mark Vonnordeck and 61-year-old Dawn Surdi have been charged with killing 18-year-old Thomas Pope, whose body was discovered Tuesday. They also face assault charges.
Police say Surdi was arrested at the pair's home on Friday and Vonnordeck was apprehended nearby after he tried to flee.
Police say the suspects and Pope likely knew each other, though they have not yet determined a motive for the crime.
