2 Teens Charged After Man Is Fatally Stabbed In Waverly

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Two teenagers have been arrested in connection to the fatal stabbing of a 29-year-old man in Waverly.

It happened on Saturday night near Greenmount and 33rd Streets.

Police say Robert Ponsi, 29, of Baltimore, was found suffering from multiple stab wounds at Venable Avenue and Old York Road. He was transported to the hospital where he later died.

According to our media partner The Baltimore Sun, Ponsi was a server at James Joyce Pub in Harbor East and was biking home.

On Sunday night, Baltimore Police say 17-year-old Antwan Eldridge and 16-year-old Daquan Middleton , both of Baltimore, were arrested and charged in the killing.

They are being charged with first and second degree murder, armed robbery and first and second degree assault.
