Man Struck And Killed On Rt. 2 In Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ)—Police in Anne Arundel County confirm a pedestrian was struck and killed on Sunday afternoon.

It happened around 1:40 p.m. on northbound Rt.2 at Warfield Road, near I-695.

Anne Arundel County Fire Department Spokesperson Russ Davies says a man has died as a result of the accident.

The vehicle that struck the man stayed at the scene, Davies said.

Further details surround the incident are unknown at this time.

Police are continuing their investigation.
