WEATHER BLOG: Warm Afternoon

Hi Everyone!

We are doing pretty good today. A nice start and a warm afternoon expected with a high of 68. Expect some scattered showers 3PM to 8PM, and maybe even a light t-shower. This as a cold front runs across the Mid-Atlantic later on.

St. Patrick's day, for your planning purposes, will start sunny with midafternoon temps then end cloudy with, ( again), another chance of some afternoon showers as a secondary cold front runs East. That will cool us down going into the weekend. Straight forward stuff to be honest.

I was walking the dog out near Sagamore Farm yesterday. The grass is REALLY greening up, the Daffodils are starting to come up, Dandelions are making their appearance, and flowering bushes, (and trees), are showing color. The net result of this……….POLLEN! Yep I think that seasonal by product, and to some "affliction", is upon us. This A.M. I am, on the air, having to clear my throat, feeling that sinus drip and it hit me----POLLEN. Just an observation, but becoming reality with a capital R day by day.

I will still take it over 30" of snow. ANY DAY!
