The Norris & Davis Show Best Of - Week Of March 26th

This week's edition of the Norris & Davis Show Best Of includes interviews with a couple members of the orioles bullpen in Dylan Bundy and closer Zach Britton.

ZACH BRITTON

Zach started off by talking about spring training and how he is getting ready for opening day and the regular season saying "I definitely feel like I've gotten better every time out, and that's what you really want from spring training...I feel like I'm ready to go."

Zach talked about Joey Rickard being a guy who has impressed this spring saying "he looks great, I think when you see a rule 5 guy come in, we've had pretty good success with those guys...he's actually played better than any of us expected, he hits well."

Zach also talked about what his goals are for the regular season, including being one of the best pitchers in the major leagues at whatever his role may be.

DYLAN BUNDY

Dylan started out by talking about his role this season with the team saying "I don't really mind what I do relief or starting, any spot in the big leagues is fine by me...whatever they want me to do I'll do it." Dylan also talked about if he is concerned that his arm can hold up should he become a starter saying "no not really, they've limited my innings for quite a long time now...I think right now they just want me to get experience on the mound and face big league hitters."

As for what has changed in his game since his first Orioles call up in 2012 Dylan said "I'm a much smarter pitcher now then I was at that point." When asked about the importance of having a catcher he is comfortable with Dylan said "it's huge having a guy back there that you can trust completely...whether it be Wieters or Caleb Joseph whichever catcher we have back there I have complete trust in them."

Dylan also talked about trying to fight through tough times of being injured, and whether or not studying film is a big part of his preparation for major league hitters.
