Bob Ryan Of The Boston Globe On Orioles Vs Red Sox

Bob Ryan is a writer for the Boston Globe and a TV personality for ESPN.

Bob joined Ken and Steve to talk about Orioles vs Red Sox and everything else across the sports landscape.

Bob started off by talking about the hot start by the Orioles and if he would change his prediction for AL East to the Orioles saying "I think the American League East is very balanced and though the Orioles are the hot topic right now the market will balance itself shortly...you're off to a great start and enjoy it but don't think you're going to win 95 games." Bob also took time to talk about the opening day festivities in Boston including appearances by Bill Russell and Bobby Orr, and the National Anthem sung by David Ortiz's daughter.

Bob also talked about the ban on smokeless tobacco in ballparks and what the fans and players think of it saying "I haven't heard much from the fans, it's a disgusting revolting habit to fans who didn't grow up with a shotgun and a pick up truck...I was never exposed to it until I started covering baseball."

Bob also talked about differing topics throughout the NBA, and the NHL.
