Police: Penn. Couple Pull Gun After Bar Feud

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ) -- A Pennsylvania couple was arrested early Monday morning after a squabble outside a Glen Burnie sports bar that authorities say turned violent when the man reached into his car for a firearm and threatened several people at gunpoint.

Officers were called to Sidelines Bar on Chesapeake Centre Court after 1 a.m. where witnesses told investigators an argument broke out after someone drunkenly fell onto the couple's vehicle, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

At some point, the male suspect allegedly grabbed a black handgun from inside the vehicle, pointed it at multiple people and threatened to kill them. The couple then got in the vehicle and drove away.

Later, police located a vehicle matching the description provided by witnesses and pulled it over in the parking lot of the Extended Stay hotel across the street from the bar. That's when officers say they found a Ruger 9mm pistol and a full magazine in the car and a loaded Glock .40 caliber handgun in the trunk.

Police then took Michael Blair Ceresa, 27, and Alayna Eve Rhodes, 24, both of Glassport, Pa., into custody.

Ceresa is charged with first-degree assault, a felony, and a list of gun charges along with reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors, according to online court records. He's being held on $25,000 bond.

Rhodes, who faces misdemeanor charges, has been released from custody.
