Honoring the Moms: JetBlue Gives Free Flights For Crying Babies

BALTMORE (WJZ)—What could be worse than a long plane flight with crying babies?

It's stressful for fellow passengers and for parents.

In honor of Mother's Day, Jet Blue Airways launched their Fly Babies campaign for one day to reward all passengers and honor moms ahead of their special day on Flight 213 to California.

In their new ad posted on YouTube, a flight attendant on board a plane from JFX to Long Beach, California says, "Welcome aboard to our very special flight. We all know when we are flying with babies and they cry on the plane, it can be hard on all of us," says the attendant. "This will be the very first flight that crying babies is a good thing."

The flight attendant says that for every time a baby cries everyone on the plane gets 25% off on their next JetBlue flight.

Fortunately for the folks on this special flight babies were captured crying at least four times amounting to a FREE flight the next time they travel.

JetBlue says it was only for a day but they wanted to give "everyone a reason to smile every time a baby cries."

"We hope that other travelers will feel inspired to do the same on their next flight – even without the reward," said the airline.
