Families Of Montgomery County Shooting Victims Speak Out

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- We're hearing from families of two of the fatal victims of Eulalio Tordil's alleged shooting rampage. For two days, the federal police officer is accused of shooting a total of six people, killing three.

Marcus Washington reports he remains behind bars without bond, as the families of his victims deal with this tragedy.

The terror 62-year-old Tordil is accused of causing within two days will affect a countless number of people for decades to come. The federal police officer allegedly killed his wife and two others between May 5 and 6 before he was captured by police.

A day later, the families and friends of victims 65-year-old Claudina Molina and 45-year-old Malcom Winffel, held vigils to honor their lives.

"Everybody called him Superman, The Hulk; he was really big. He was our hero. He was our superhero," said Malcom's sister, Pilar Winffel.

For the family of Malcom---who they often called Mike---were not surprised that their brother risked his own life trying to help another.

"That was him. That is what he would have done in that situation," said Carlos Winffel.

And for the family of Molina, they're still in shock and dealing with the pain.

"We're suffering. It's a great loss. It's very tragic and my family is all torn up about it," a family member said.

In the midst of a tragedy, these family members are finding peace in remembering the love that Molina and Winffel have both left behind.

"She was a wonderful woman," said a family member.

"He was always joking around, always had a smile on his face. That was Mike," Carlos Winffel said.

Three of the other shooting victims are recovering in area hospitals.
