Police Make Arrest In Northwest Baltimore Murder

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- Police have arrested a 22-year-old man wanted in connection to the murder of a 21-year-old man outside a Northwest Baltimore shopping center last week, authorities said Monday.

Emmett Pulliam, 22, of Fairlawn Avenue, was taken into custody in Cecil County Friday. Pulliam is charged with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Quincey Waymon, according to police.

Officers responding to a shooting reported in the 6600 block of Reistertown Road before 6:30 p.m. May 3 found Waymon shot multiple times. Waymon was taken to the hospital where he died of his injuries.

Investigators suspect an argument between Waymon and Pulliam inside the store later spilled outside. That's when Pulliam allegedly shot Waymon before taking off.
