Police Say This Car May Have Been Driven By Lifeguard's Killer

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Police have released a photo of a car that they say was used by the suspect or suspects who killed 26-year-old Dominique Dungee on Memorial Day weekend.

On May 28, Dungee was shot and killed in the 500 block of S. Broadway.

First responders arrived to the scene before midnight Saturday to find the former city lifeguard and father of one suffering from a gunshot wound to the body. Despite being rushed to Johns Hopkins, he died.

Police tell WJZ Dungee was seen on video caught in the middle of an unmistakable argument with the gunman during a very busy Saturday night in Fells Point.

"Whoever was arguing with Mr. Dungee meant to shoot Mr. Dungee," said Donny Moses, of the Baltimore City Police Department.

The vehicle used by the suspects to leave that location was captured by a surveillance camera in the area, and may be a four door Hyundai sedan.

Investigators are asking anyone with information on this vehicle to call detectives at 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup. Callers may remain anonymous.
