Fatal Accident Under Investigation In Howard County
MARRIOTTSVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- A fatal accident is under investigation in Howard County.
It happened around 5:20 p.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of Marriottsville Road near Driver Road.
Investigators say a Chevy Impala traveling northbound crossed the center line and struck a Ford Escape head-on.
The woman driving the Impala was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman driving the Escape was taken to Shock Trauma in stable condition.
It's not clear what caused the driver of the Impala to lose control.
