WEATHER BLOG: Extreme Heat for Monday

BALTIMORE (WJZ)--Extreme heat is in the forecast again for Monday and the National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory that is to go into effect starting at noon on Monday. Not only are temps forecast to rise into the upper 90s, once again… but the moisture content in the air will make it *feel* even hotter. Heat index values will feel into the 105-110 degree range at times during the afternoon and early evening. Be sure to take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. It's better to exercise in the early morning or evening. Be sure to drink plenty of water and check on your elderly neighbors. High temps will hover in the 90s and near 90 through the remainder of the work week.
