City Firefighters Revive Unconscious Cat Rescued From Burning Home
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A cat in Southwest Baltimore just used up one of its nine lives. Firefighters were able to rescue the feline after a house fire in the 2500 block of West Fairmont Avenue.
Units arrived at about 9:30 a.m. Saturday to find heavy fire showing from the rear of a two-story rowhome.
While all of the occupants made it out safely, the cat was not as lucky. Firefighters found the animal unconscious.
Using CPR and an oxygen mask, units were able to revive the feline.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
