1 Dead, 2 Injured In Overnight Shootings In Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- The Baltimore Police Department is investigating three overnight shootings that left one person dead and two others injured.

Shots rang out around 1:00 a.m. in the 4100 block of Highland Ave. Police say they found a 27-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to his body. He was transported to an area hospital.

Forty-five minutes later police responded to another shooting in the the 2000 block of Penrose Ave. that left a 26-year-old man shot in the leg. He was also transported tot he hospital.

Baltimore Police say they are investigating a third shooting that left a man dead. Officers responded to the 2500 block of E. Madison Street where they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. He died at the scene.
