Police: Man Steals Beer By Posing As Delivery Driver

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- An Alabama man is suspected of pulling off a series of beer heists using only a simple disguise.

Darrius Williams, 22, is wanted for four counts of property theft for allegedly showing up to several stores posing as a delivery driver, stacking cases of beer and soda on a cart and then wheeling the cart out of the store, according to Central Alabama CrimeStoppers.

But instead of re-stocking shelves, Williams allegedly unloads the stolen beverages into his vehicle and then takes off, AL.com reports.

CrimeStoppers said the scheme has been seamless enough that several store managers have been duped.
