Baltimore Man Arrested In Death Of Woman

Baltimore, MD -WJZ-  Baltimore City police were contacted by members of the Howard County Police Department Friday around 3:40pm.  Homicide detectives were told a man contacted them to report he just killed a woman in Baltimore City.  23 year old Jerome Arnold of the 3700 block of St Margaret Street told police he killed a woman near the 4000 block of West Bay Avenue.   Officers searched the area and found the body of an adult female in the wooded area behind the 1100 block of Edwight Court.  The woman appeared to be suffering from trauma to her upper body and was pronounced deceased at the scene.  Arnold has been charged with first degree murder and various assault charges.  The identity of the victim will be released pending notification of next of kin.  Investigators believe the suspect and the victim were know to each other.
