4-year-old Dies In Salisbury House Fire

SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say the resident who died in a house fire in Salisbury was a 4-year-old girl.

The State Fire Marshal's office says in a news release Monday that Aarionah Moore died in a fire in her home on Saturday.

Investigators say the fired was discovered by Aarionah's mother, Shonna Moore, in a rear utility room. Firefighters found Aarionah and took her to a hospital, where she died.

The Fire Marshal's office says the child died from smoke inhalation. The origin and cause of the fire are still under investigation
