Steve Smith Blows Past Raiders Defense En Route To First Touchdown Of 2016

By Trevor Peele

In August of 2015 Steve Smith Sr. announced that he would be playing his last season of football. After suffering a season-ending injury in the heart of the season, it looked like it was all over for the 37-year-old wide receiver.

Last December Smith took to Twitter to announce that he would return for his 16th season and go out on his own terms. If there was any doubt that Smith lost his speed due to his achilles, doubt no more.

It was the first touchdown for Smith in 2016 and surely not the last. The Ravens entered the game 3-0 on the season but the Oakland Raiders would be the first to hand them their first loss.
