Ravens Fan in Critical Condition after Fight with Raiders Fans at M&T Bank Stadium

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Jessup man was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma center Sunday after getting into a fight with two Oakland Raiders fans, just after the game.

According to our news partner The Baltimore Sun, police were called after a fight broke out on the stadium ramp between the third and fourth levels, and calls were made for an ambulance.

According to The Sun, Susan Bauer reported that her brother, 55-year-old Joseph Bauer, was at the game with his wife and another couple when he got into a verbal argument with some Raiders fans towards the end of the game.

Susan Bauer tells The Sun the fight escalated and became physical. Joseph was struck by one of the fans, and hit his head on the concrete, knocking him unconscious.

She said her brother incurred a serious head injury and is in critical condition with a subdural hematoma. Bauer said doctors had told the family he had a 30 percent chance of survival.

"We're in shock over this," she said.

Baltimore Police spokesman Donny Moses tells The Sun that police had released as much information as they were able to at the time.

Moses said that the Raiders fans were from New York. The men who were involved in the fight with Bauer were arrested. They have not yet been identified, nor what charges they face.
