Mike Preston writes a column and covers the Ravens for the Baltimore Sun sports section.
Mike as he does every week graded the Ravens bad loss to the Redskins 16-10 at home yesterday.
Mike started off by grading the Ravens quarterback giving Joe Flacco a grade of C- saying “Flacco hung tough in the pocket despite taking a beating for the second straight week.” The Ravens offensive line received a grade of C-, while the receivers picked up a grade of D. When it came time to grade the running backs Mike gave out a grade of A- saying “West ran 11 times for 95 yards and the Redskins couldn’t stop him.”
As for the defensive side of the ball Mike started by giving the defensive line a grade of A- saying “The Ravens held the Redskins to 60 yards rushing on 20 carries.” Mike gave the linebackers a grade of B, while the secondary received a grade of C with Mike saying “safety Lardarius Webb led the Ravens in tackles with seven, but both he and fellow safety Eric Weddle looked slow at times.”
Finally Mike gave out his grades to the special teams unit, they received a D, and the coaching staff who received a grade of D.
