A picture perfect fall weekend is in store for the region as mother nature delivers a mid-October dandy. After a cool start to the morning, temperatures will rebound considerably today as high pressure slowly drifts off the New England Coast. Plentiful sunshine and low dew points (in the mid 40s) will allow temperatures to climb quickly, reaching the mid to upper 60s across the region by the afternoon. Saturday night will be cool but not as cold. The high will continue to drift, allowing some warmer air and moisture to slowly begin moving in, which will keep overnight lows warmer, despite clear skies and light winds. Temperatures will drop to around 50 in the city, with low 50’s near the Chesapeake, and upper 40’s further inland.
