Today’s High Broke A 71-Year-Old Record

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A big warm up helped break a 71-year-old temperature record today.

Baltimore Washington International Airport hit 83 degrees by 2 p.m., one degree above a record for Oct. 18 set in 1945.

According to WJZ meteorologist Chelsea Ingram, temperatures will dip back down into more seasonable levels later in the week.
