Orioles Davis, Machado Named Gold Glove Finalists
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore Orioles Chris Davis and Manny Machado have both been named 2016 Rawlings Gold Glove Award finalists.
Machado is the finalist for third base and Davis was named finalist for first base. Machado is a two-time Gold Glove winner.
The Rawlings Gold Glove Award, usually referred to as the Gold Glove, is the award given annually to the Major League Baseball players judged to have exhibited superior individual fielding performances at each fielding position in both the National League (NL) and the American League (AL), as decided by Rawlings the company.
