Kitten & Red Panda Cams To Relieve Election Day Stress

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Voters stressed out by this year's election can find several ways to relax and focus on happier, cuddlier things, as several places are setting up live streams of animals to calm voters.

Baltimore BARCS  -- Kitty Cam

Baltimore Animal Shelter BARCS is live-streaming sleeping  kittens at Pet Valu in Southside Marketplace shopping center on it's Facebook page. Voters are invited to stop on by and play with their little friends.

Norfolk SPCA No-Kill Adoption Center & Veterinary Clinics -- Puppy Cam

The animal shelter in Virginia is sharing a very cute Facebook live feed of doggy Mom, Juno, with her adorable cattle dog/hound mix puppies Bleeker, Mac, Su Chin and Bren.

San Francisco Zoo -- Red Panda Cam

A zoo in San Francisco is live streaming red pandas to help voters cope with the stress of Election Day.

Starting at 1 p.m. the San Francisco Zoo will live-stream three red pandas for an hour on Firefox's facebook page.

Monterey Bay Aquarium -- Jellyfish Cam

The Monterey Bay Aquarium in northern California is sharing a live stream of their jellyfish. "Need a break from stormy seas?" write the aquarium. "Slip just beneath the surface into an ocean of tranquility with our Jelly Cam."

Weather Channel -- Serene Scenery

The Weather Channel is showing nine hours of of relaxing views of skies, clouds, and gorgeous fall scenery, all while accompanied by a smooth jazz soundtrack. The special election programming with begin at 3.p.m. EST and after viewers and voters alike some calm from the election craziness.
