Mark Trumbo Named MLB Comeback Player of the Year
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Major League Baseball Players Association named Baltimore Oriole Mark Trumbo the American League's Comeback Player of the Year.
During the 2016 Players Choice Awards, the MLB Players Association also named the late Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez the National League's Comeback Player of the Year.
This was the 25th annual awards ceremony.
MLB Players Trust donates $260,000 to charities selected by the winners.
