Police Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Accident In Jessup
JESSUP, Md (WJZ) - Howard County police are investigating what lead to a collision between a motorcylce and passenger vehicle in Jessup Wednesday evening.
Officials say a Yamaha Motorcycle was traveling northbound on Vollmerhausen Road just before 9:30 Wednesday evening. At that time it collided with a Nissan Altima that was traveling westbound on Castleford Drive.
21-year-01d Phillip Dorsey, of Jessup, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver o the Altima, Alborz Lakeh, of Laure, and the three passengers in the vehicle were not injured. Police say charges have not been filed at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
Vollmerhausen Road was shut down betwen Guilford and Savage Guilford Roads while officers investigated the scene.
