WEATHER BLOG: First Holiday Weekend Of The Summer Not Too Bad

Hi Everyone!!

The first holiday weekend of the Summer is here!! Heck yeah!!!! So let's do some day by day discussion because we do have a few times where some rain will occur. Here's the deal..

We are watching a series of Lows move across the country. Not all of them will come over the area as happened yesterday. Today and tonight no issues. This evening will be beautiful. Tomorrow for the most part, until mid to late afternoon, there will be a couple of showers move through the Mid-Atlantic. One computer model, the GFS, the Global, calls for more wide spread moisture. But the NAM, the North American model calls for much less rainfall in the afternoon.  However the day should NOT be a washout. On Sunday yet another Low will power moisture up the I-95 corridor. Later Sunday aft, evening, and night,  will be wet. And finally Monday guess what? Yet another Low will drag a front through and we think some steady rain is to be expected late afternoon, and night.

Not a perfect weather weekend, but not a totally bad one either.

Memorial Day weekend 2017. Time to put the brakes on the clock, and calendar, and go into 3/4 time for the next 90+ days. Ya ready?
