Orioles Welcome National Chess Champion, Baltimore Native Cahree Myrick
BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Before Friday's game the Orioles welcomed national chess champion and Baltimore native Cahree Myrick.
The 12-year-old took on several Oriole challengers and went undefeated, including Manny Machado and Jonathan Schoop twice.
Cahree recently won his division at the U.S. National Chess Tournament.
Myrick attends Roland Park Elementary-Middle School.
