Washington, DC Pet Shelter Needs Help After Flooding
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A popular pet shelter in Washington, DC, The Humane Rescue Alliance, is in desperate need of supplies.
They're asking for the help after heavy rains caused severe flood damage.
Floodwaters rushed into the shelter on Friday, soaking pet beds, which had to be thrown away.
The severe weather caused crowded conditions for the pets. Anyone willing to donate supplies is asked to bring them directly to the shelter in northeast DC.
