Manny Machado Named AL Player Of The Month For August
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore Orioles third baseman Manny Machado has been named the American League Player of the Month for August.
Machado batted .341 with 23 runs scored, six doubles, a triple, 12 home runs, 35 RBI and three stolen bases over 29 August games.
This is his second career AL Player of the Month Award.
Giancarlo Stanton won the award for the National League.
