Buck’s Birds can match any lineup in baseball 1 through 9 when it comes to thunder in the lumber and they’re coming off the best fielding percentage season in baseball history. That’s all good but in the end this team will seal it’s fate with starting pitching.
We are about halfway through with this current polar blast. At least the winds have calmed. Friday will be 25 degrees, 15 degrees by night, but the weekend will be milder.
Looks as if it will just be cold. It should become windy this afternoon, and even though there ought to be a good deal of sunshine, the temperature will be no higher than the mid 30s.

I think the Orioles ownership and Dan Duquette in particular deserve credit for making baseball fun again. Lord knows we complain enough when things are bad.

Wednesday morning’s now is, simply put, annoying. It produced 1 to 2 inches only but enough of a glaze to be problematic. The bigger problem will be the return of the cold.
