Michael Felder From Bleacher Report

Felder gives his opinion on this ray Rice issue. Felder says that he “thought it would be more, especially with the evidence that they have and Goodell’s hard stance on discipline.” Although eventually Baltimore will forgive Rice, he is doing everything else right including staying out of the media, going to counseling and making public statements with his wife. When thinking about a man, especially a football player hitting a woman and getting suspended only two games, Goodell seems to go a little harder when it is player versus player. Rules are getting more disciplined on hitting in football and if you break them, players are getting suspended more than just a couple of games. Something to think about.

Maryland will have an interesting schedule this year obviously playing some big teams. A game that will be played at home is Ohio State and a few away games in clued Michigan and Penn State. Right now, on paper the Terps have some great players including a quarterback, great receivers, and great running backs.

Michael Felder Of Bleacher Report Talks College Football With Scott Garceau

What is the scoop with, of course, Johnny Manziel? Seems like everyone is pretty opinionated about the quarterback. Is there an upside for Manziel? Manziel made everyone look throughout his college career. One thing that really made people look was in the Chik-Fil-A Bowl. Felder noticed “NFL throws” from Manziel, especially in that bowl. Manziel is good but can he get better? Is he an NFL starter? Potientially, yeah Manziel could be a starter.

Kentucky Power Forward Joel Embiid looked like the top pick in the draft until a recent stress fracture caused his stock to drop in the draft. Scott asked Drew how this changes the Cleveland Cavaliers draft plans for tomorrow night. “It looked like everything was set before Joel Embiid got the stress fracture in his foot. It looked like Embiid was going to go first, with Jabari Parker going second and Andrew Wiggins going to go third. So now it puts Cleveland in an interesting situation.”
