300 Men March
They’re men on a mission in what has been an extraordinarily bloody summer in Baltimore, walking from here to Washington to show just how much this city is in crisis.
As the city sees its first deadly shooting in the month of August, Baltimore’s “300 Men March” violence prevention movement is taking to the streets to spread a message of peace.
Hundreds of people marched through Baltimore calling for an end to the violence that has claimed more than 150 lives this year.
Hundreds march along North Avenue, rocked in recent months by violence and unrest. This comes at a pivotal point for the mayor, who just replaced the police commissioner and whose main rival, Sheila Dixon, was close at hand.
