After struggling down the stretch, I pulled myself together and finished my college and pro football football picks regular season with a bang.
After taking a week off for the Christmas holidays, I am ready to get back to the football picks this weekend.
I think we can all agree that the 2013 football seasons has flown by. It seems like only yesterday that I was picking the Atlanta Falcons and Houston Texans to meet in the Super Bowl.
Another weekend of football picks is in the books and I had a better showing than I did the week before.
3 and 3. That’s how I rolled as the calendar turned to November. Not great. Not even good, quite frankly. But better than October ended, for sure.
My midseason stink-fest continues when it comes to the football selections. After a promising start, I have struggled over the last few weeks.
1-5 last week? Embarrassing. Bob Haynie looks to rebound from a “Bad, Bad, Bad, Bad, Week”
For the second straight week, Bob’s pigskin prognostications were unspectacular. This week he hopes to rebound!
The football gods sent me a strong message last weekend: Don’t get too full of thyself.
In the college ranks, I was 2 and 1 as Maryland and BYU handled their business against Old Dominion and Texas respectively. Unfortunately, Notre Dame couldn’t cover against Michigan.
As I did last year, I will pick three games from both the college and pro ranks. We’ll tally up the total at the end of the season and see how well things went.
