After a warm, beautiful day with very low humidity yesterday, we had a repeat today. A small cluster of thunderstorms did develop over southern PA that have drifted into Washington and Allegany counties this afternoon/evening.
The comfortable weekend continues. The dewpoints/humidity remain low today, while temperatures are still running a few degrees below the average of 85 degrees.
A weak storm started moving through today with clouds, a few spotty showers, and an isolated thunderstorm. Even though there is not much out there this evening, there is still a batch of rain and thunderstorms in ohio and West Virginia that will be headed our way.
A heat advisory is in effect through 8 p.m. Also, a code orange air quality alert is in effect. The air is becoming unhealthy for the sensitive breathing groups. They will likely be issued again tomorrow.
A lot of people say they’re used to Memorial Day rainouts, but this year Mother Nature rolled out the heat.
