Delmarva Power is asking customers in Delaware and Maryland to conserve energy as high temperatures are expected to push into the upper 90s in some areas.
The heat that blanketed much of the U.S. began to ease up from unbearable to merely very hot Sunday as temperatures from the Midwest to the East Coast dropped from highs above 100 degrees down to the 90s.
We are going to hang on to this warmth for one more day before we really start to feel the changes.
Humidity decreases because of Monday’s thunderstorms, but temperatures will climb back to the high 90s by Friday. Weekend looks warmer with chances of thunderstorms.
