That freeze warning was warranted late Monday night/early Tuesday morning. Even though the city only dropped to 37 degrees, BWI-Marshall bottomed out at 31 degrees with many places north and west of the city down in the 20s.
We got all the way up to 66 degrees Tuesday afternoon. That is just 3 shy of the 69 degree record, and way above the average of 42 degrees.
his year it falls on a Wednesday at the end of May, during a Red Sox game. Teachers, get your schools signed up. Parents and students, tell your teachers all about it. It’s a really fun day for all involved!
After a nice break with sunshine, the next storm started moving our way today. Clouds and spotty showers came in with the first part of it, but this is just the beginning.
Even though there were some showers today, they held again until late in the day. That allowed for a lot of sunshine most of the day and the high to climb to 71 degrees. Although there is no huge storm coming our way tomorrow, the main storm track (jetstream) is still running just over Maryland.
It’s hard to believe that we were in the 80s just two days ago! Yes, in case you forgot, we hit 86 degrees Wednesday.
