As the holidays approach and you prep to visit the in-laws, it's important to know exactly where to grab the best booze at Baltimore/Washington International. There is nothing like getting to the airport super early in case the security lines are really long only to get through security quickly and have a ton of time to kill before boarding starts for your flight. These are the bars that promise the best booze to pass the time.

DuClaw is a local favorite brewery with a menu that offers a range of seafood, burgers, crab cakes, salads and soups. It also brings you seasonal beer specials from the brewery in Bel Air, Md. Since 1996, when it opened, DuClaw Brewing Company has continued to brew award-winning flavors and styles, and now it's serving them up right at the airport. Enjoy seven DuClaw beers on tap every day along with Miller Lite, Yuengling and Guinness, as well as a wide variety of liquor and wine. It is located pre-security, at Concourse A/B.

This location opened in 2006 and brings you tasty, authentic Maryland-style seafood using fresh blue crab meat from the well-known Baltimore crab house in Fells Point that closed in 2011. The menu offers everything from crab cakes to soft crab and crab soup as well as other bar-friendly dishes. The menu also boasts a full selection of beer, wine and spirited drinks. One drink to check out is the crabby Mary made with Absolut Peppar vodka and bloody Mary mix, in an Obrycki's spicy seafood seasoning-rimmed glass. Find it between gates B-9 and B-11.

Located just beyond security on Southwest's Concourse A in the BWI Airport, travelers now have access to Phillips' much-loved crab cakes and fresh seafood, a Maryland staple for the last 50 years. Take a trip to the Maryland shore without leaving the airport. Try one of its famous bloody Marys or Phillips' custom-brewed amber ale. It's located just beyond security on Southwest's Concourse A.

Pepper's Mexican Grill offers high-quality Mexican food at reasonable prices. Enjoy appetizers, burritos, tacos, quesadillas and taco salads. The dishes use locally purchased ingredients and come with house made salsa and guacamole. Its specialty drinks are the mint and mango mojitos. Warm chips and salsa are served with every order. Opening in 2012, it replaced Rum Island Bar located at Gate D10.
