There are many dance studios in Baltimore, but the Towson Dance Studio — the oldest ballroom in the area — provides a beautiful dance floor that is as impressive as the dancers on stage. This studio teaches ballroom, Latin, hip-hop and swing. Dance parties featuring everything from waltzes to swing and tango are the studio’s specialty, and you can come by to join in on the party in one of the many group lessons provided. This is also a great place to come for pre-wedding dance classes too, in order to perfect those dancing skills before your big day.

The Mobtown Ballroom is nothing short of fun! With energetic instructors, and all types of dancers at different skill levels, Mobtown is an upbeat and friendly environment to be a part of. The company is lighthearted and, though it is a ballroom, some of the typical traditional air is transformed and made new within this studio. They don’t take things too seriously and love to bring out people’s personalities on the dance floor. The venue has a few special events as well, like one in particular that is an annual Lindy Hop “Spring Fling.” They also have dance nights during the week. Events here are not to be missed!
