Fast-food burgers cannot stack up against a Five Guys’ burger.  Two patties make up Five Guys’ hamburger, and all toppings are free, made-to-order.  Originally a Washington D.C. chain, Five Guys have expanded into Baltimore and yet, the menu remains simple.  Favorite offerings of hamburgers, bacon hamburgers and little cheeseburgers keep customers returning to Five Guys.  People with peanut allergies beware, free bulk peanuts are scattered throughout Five Guys, which has been part of Five Guys’ identity for the past 20 years.

Make the trip crosstown for Hamilton Tavern’s well-known Crosstown Burger.  Made with Roseda Farms beef, the all-organic burger can be topped with “sticky-spicy” bacon and a fried egg.  In fact, Hamilton Tavern was the first in the area to present such a burger combination.  Crosstown Burgers are served with house-made potato chips and complete with shredded iceberg lettuce, onion and horseradish cheddar.  To Hamilton Tavern’s credit, “the right to make something yummy at any time” is certainly a reflection of the Crosstown Burger.

    whaaaaat!? Five guys made the list but no Dizz! I cant speak for most of the list but I wasn’t all that impressed with my burger experience Hamilton Tavern, came out way overcooked. The Dizz is where its at!
