Best Places To Take Your Dog In Baltimore

If you like to have your dog with you wherever you go, here are some dog-friendly places in and around Baltimore.

This is a big fundraiser for the animal shelter BARCS. Every October, they throw BARCStoberfest, a big gathering for dogs and their people. There are pet costume contests, games, food and live music. There are also pets that you can adopt.

This dog park has two fenced areas, one for large dogs and the other for smaller dogs. Dogs are allowed to go off-leash and water and toys are provided. Obviously, you are expected to clean up after your dog if they go to the bathroom in the park.

Cromwell Park is open every day from sunrise to sunset. There are 380 acres for you and your dog to explore, but your dog has to stay on the leash at all times. You are expected to clean up after your dog if they go to the bathroom in the park.

If your dog likes the water, this is the place for you. You're not allowed to swim, but your dog can play in the water. Dogs can be off-leash at the beach but have to be back on the leash if they go into the park. You have to clean up after your dog.
