Avoid cabin fever and make plans to visit Whitetail Resort during the winter months for skiing fun. Whitetail reaches an elevation of 1,800 feet with 23 trails and two terrain parks. Some courses are open until 10 p.m. for night skiing excitement. With 100 acres of ski slopes, Roundtop Mountain Resort is a wonderful location to escape the long winter months. There are 16 ski runs and 11 lifts that are in superior shape. Modest diversity in the trails makes it easy for skiers of all skill levels. Beginners can also sign up for ski lessons along with season ski packages. Snowboarding and snow tubing is also a specialty of Roundtop which has a smaller vertical drop then the majority of the local ski resorts.
