For The Large-Busted Woman:
For women with full busts, Jimenez says support is key — both to keeping you comfortable and to keeping you looking your best. “A woman with a large bust should look for bra style tops with underwire and adjustable straps,” she explains. However, you don’t need an underwire to get the support you need. Jimenez says that “Halter tops, especially those with thick ties or bands around the torso, offer good support without an underwire.”
For A Woman With A Smaller Bust Who Wants To Enhance The Appearance Of Her Curves:
Want to create the illusion of a fuller bust? Jimenez suggests a diversion. “Triangle tops, and tops with bold prints or embellishments like ruffles, help create the illusion of curves,” Jimenez says. Focus on the swimwear that falls into these categories and you may not even feel a need for extra padding.
Flattering Styles For Boyish Figures:
If you have smaller hips, Jimenez recommends choosing unusual swimsuit cuts and patterns. Just like breasts, hips will look fuller when covered by a full pattern or enhanced with ruffles and flair. “Monokinis and tie side bottoms look sexy and stylish on a woman with a boyish figure. Again, look to bold prints, ruffles and other embellishments to create the illusion of fuller curves,” she explains. All women can look beautiful no matter their body shape. It just takes knowing what to buy!
For A Woman With A Thicker Tummy:
Jimenez recommends more fabric for thicker tummies, but she says to use it carefully. According to Jimenez, shirring, a technique in which fabric is gathered in parallel rows, can be very slimming. “Shirring works miracles for a woman who wants to help tone the tummy,” she says. “Or consider a one piece with a figure flattering surplice wrap silhouette. If you want a two piece but are concerned about the dreaded muffin top, banded hipster bottoms lay flat against the tummy and are one of our most popular styles.”
For Every Woman:
For more information, Jimenez recommends the Find Your Perfect Fit feature on the Everything But Water website. This is an excellent tool. No two women have the same style or shape so this tool allows you to find the swimsuit for your individual body type. Once you have narrowed down your perfect swimsuit, a detailed description is given about each selected swimsuit. Then you can browse through a huge selection of swimwear online.
